I have been listening for a few years, along with The Bible in a Year and other Ascension Press podcasts. My prayer life has greatly increased and I am filled with the love of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit each day. What an amazing blessing. As Fr. In OCIA with my husband and we’re both excited and overwhelmed by all the wonderful nuances, traditions and history of our Holy Church. Mr. Cavins’ podcasts, books, studies and YouTube videos are not only exceptionally rich in knowledge but also presented so warmly, with an undeniable earnestness that all come to fully know Christ wherever they may be in their Faith journey. He’s come to be this Mama’s choice resource. Our 9 yr old son listens in when I’m driving and he absorbs considerably more than I could hope. What a blessing. Lord favor this sweet gentleman in all he endeavors to accomplish and may Mr. Cavins feel the gratitude countless many of us have for his utilization/multiplication of his divine spiritual talents.

So I am always around people with different religions or are just lost so listening to this helps me give them answers to their questions that get their wheels turning in their head. So then they have more questions about the Roman Catholic faith which eventually makes them convert.

I have been listening to Jeff Cavins show for years and it was the first Catholic podcast I came across. As a Catholic, I had mainly come across Protestant shows, so I was very curious to find this. I would very much like to show my support for your podcast because I believe that you are a God send to us who are seeking a closer relationship with our Lord. Hands down, I think listening to your podcast is better than any therapy out there. Jeff asked for strategies we can use to memorize scripture. As I’ve been doing The Bible in a Year podcast (ok, for me it will be the Bible in Three Years), when a verse grabs my attention, I type the verse and address into the notes app on my phone. I’m going to use that as the order in which I’ll memorize each passage. Thanks for the great program!

Been to Israel with Jeff & Emily, went through most all of his Bible studies. This podcast is a nice short daily dose of living a good life. Highly recommend it to everyone. The Spirit of Envy was in full operation on Thanksgiving Day at Golden Coral with friends. A lot of negative remarks made directly at me due to my decision to lose weight. I had put on the shield of faith before entering the restaurant. The attacks bounced off. Able to stay calm and not be on defensive. Thank you Jeff!

Thank you Jeff for these recommendations. ’ve been wanting to get into the various papal encyclicals but they seem so daunting to understand. I’ve tried, but am limited by my understanding of terminology and history. I end up going down rabbit holes on the internet to research vocabulary or context. Would it be possible for you, or someone else, to present these documents in a podcast? Thank you for your attention and your vocation of evangelizing.
