    The Contrarian drive
    Cdot is a talented radio host, yet as a contributor perfectly told him “You sit in your ivory tower and look down at everyone”. After several failed attempts to pair him with a cohost, 610 has decided to let him host solo. Over time without a cohost to contrast, cdot has really dug into his contrarian bit. Toss in the current producer Rob who generally agrees or has his own brand of contrarian hot takes, the show has become an eco chamber of put downs. Again Cdot has talent and seems to shape himself after his predecessor Nick Wright, but he needs to be reeled in a bit.

    This is the podcast to listen to if you want to be in the know how about KC regional sports (Chiefs, Royals, Kansas, K-state, and Mizzou) plus hilarious takes on National sports news and tabloids. Pretty sure Cdot, Sports Machine, and Rob don’t like each other. But their chemistry and loyalty to each other make this show so charming that I can’t stop listening. Give a try, you won’t regret it!

    I’m a long time KC fan from California. I try to get as much Chiefs information as I can. This is one of those podcasts that gives me as much information about the Chiefs from a local perspective.

    Why does 610 continue to force CDot to do shows with absolute idiots? The second voice behind CDot has been a clown card since Parkins left. I feel bad for Carrington.

    Love the show but there are always hours not available to download. Won’t waste my time if I can not down load all 4 hours of the show.

    Been listening to Carrington and Benny for a few years now, and they do a great job of making my day a little better. Although I do enjoy Brads “old man takes”, I miss the old team with Danny because I’m right around their age and related a lot with what they had to say. Still, The Drive is awesome and the only show I make a point to catch!
