Spazz7890Thank you Joe and NickI am another wife and working mom from across the pond in the USA. The first podcast I rush to hear as soon as a new episode is available is Mid-faith Crisis. Joe and Nick bring the perfect blend of scholarship, humor, honesty and genuine care for each other and their listeners to their podcast. Stars are being hammered into a pair of celestial crowns right now for the great encouragement you bring to those of us who struggle to fit the pieces of our faith together, but do not want to throw out the puzzle. Heartfelt thanks to both of you!

ThjfcboMid-Faith CrisisMid-Faith Crisis is exactly the words I would use to describe the place I'm in right now. It's a very scary place and I've been looking for something that will help me be able to understand what it is I'm going through. I only listened to the first podcast as of yet but the things they have said hit the exact points that I feel in my life now. It's terrifying to feel this but if this podcast is what it promises to be then I think it'll be a big help for me or anyone thats going through this terrifying realization that the God in the clouds with the big bushy beard might not be quite what you thought as a kid.

ivey lgPerfect for anyone questioning their faithI have been searching through the religion and spirituality podcasts for quite a while for something exactly like this. I do feel I have been going through a ‘mid-faith crisis’ and the way they explain it resonates with me. The podcasts I have encountered have approached faith either by being too preachy or from an angry atheist point of view, no in between. Nick and Joe bring their expertise as a minister and historian when speaking about faith while not going over listeners heads with doctrine. I also appreciate their humor and humility. I am an American and do enjoy their dry British humor and find myself laughing out loud often. I found this right at the beginning of lent and intend to listen through the season. Just what I needed.

LikesToRead2016It's nice to know I'm not the only oneI appreciate that Nick and Joe are unpretentious and fun. The topic means a lot to me, being at the age and stage of life where mid faith crises happen. And I like Ethel's letters.
