old earth creationistBiblical ContextWhat the speaker has forgotten is that the Bible is NOT a science book. He repeatedly claims over and over that the meaning of “7 days” is literal and that the idea that maybe the “7 days” really stand for billions of years is ridiculous because it’s not what God says. However this is taking the Bible extremely out of context. The book of Genesis was written for an ancient culture who didn’t even have a modern picture of what a globe looks like. The author of Genesis is simply trying to portray to his audience that God created the world and he’s using literary devices that were common in other similar ancient texts. The point of Genesis is not HOW God created the universe. The point of Genesis is THAT God created the universe. Ultimately it doesn’t matter how God created the universe as long as He did. The speaker in the podcast gives no room for any other explanation for how God may have created the universe. Couldn’t it be possible that God facilitated the Big Bang? Or couldn’t it be possible that God guided evolution? I don’t feel as though this podcast truly explored all the scientific evidence and I feel that it only used the Bible as evidence which is kind of a fallacy as the thing their trying to prove is the Bible.

theangrypaleoanthropologistCome on peopleI would give it 0 stars if I could. As an actual paleontology student, I can tell you this podcast takes scientific jargon and explains it in a way that would be hard to understand and steeply understated for even your average joe, and then gives no argument as to why the genesis narrative is right. I used to want to be a creation “scientist” and let me tell you, 1) once you actually learn the facts of these topics, you would have to be lying to yourself to believe the creation narrative, and 2) these people aren’t even trying! At least try to muster an argument as to why the Bible is right other than “people these days will not accept the biblical truth”! That is not an answer, it is a cop out. Either way the information given here is incorrect, but they could at least try selling it better. I mean come on.

irem lapWell done , respectful and honestI have been following the various creationist presenters for about 20 years now. CRI is among the very best. All of the presentations in this series are based upon real scientific , historical and Biblical information. Beautiful work.

Durst98Complete Nonsense. The word "science" should not be used to support belief in an invisible man in the sky who created Earth and its inhabitants on a whim. Ridiculous podcast.
-
bookreveiwer908Fake, pseudoscienceWell, I feel like the religious have started to fall onto downright lies and logical fallacy s .creationism is a lie concocted by people with only a basic understanding of the scientific method. I am going to list 3 points that disprove creationism. 1. Why are their no dinosaurs? If EVERY animal lived at the same time, dinosaurs would be perfectly fit for hunting things like sheep and elephants! 2. Why are their clear traces of society's that existed before the purported time of Christian religions explanation.3.Why no kangaroos in Europe? Why no Dino's from, oh the Middle Ages? Oh let me guess somehow Dino's are dragons, even though they clearly are not( most depictions of dragons have them as dog sized). I could keep going but I think you get the point. You can't just say "god did it" just because your moldering goat herder book says so, be a little logical! I'm ok with Christ but I don't like this pile of misconceptions and contradictions and not say something. Stick to the real historical details in your historical book.

amature physicistIntriguingI listen to other physics podcast, and have been looking for a Christian view on the matters that they discuss. Earth MonkeyLies aren't scienceIf you claim you found C14 in a diamond when the lab technicians told you that was due to machine drift error, wouldn't the proper scienctific stance be to agree it is error and stop using it in arguments? The ICR has nothing to do with actual science and only cherry picked altered evidence corrupted by omissions and outright lies.
-

ViveDeoA Great Resource for the Glory of Jesus!I started listening the the ICR podcasts several months ago and I have been amazed at all the evidence there is that points through Genesis directly to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. The podcasts are very well done by professionals, the information is clear, and it is sound evidence. Thank you for all you do! Keep up the good work!

tananariver63Real objective scienceAn excellent podcast that uses critical thinking and objective analysis to show that real science supports the Biblical creation account. No reason to compromise or twist one word of scripture ... the logical interpretation of evidence confirms the Bible.
-
LexiconiusExcellent!Always relevant and showing a deep understanding of the scientific topic. Very uplifting!

Barb from OregonBest Origins Science Podcast Out ThereOne of the best--if not THE best--Scripturally-based science and origins podcasts out there. Each episode is a complete snippet covering various areas of science, and is hosted by PhD experts in the relevant area. If I had any complaint, it would be that the episodes are too short and too far between. I would love to see daily (or even weekly) hour-long podcasts so that covered subjects can be delved into even more deeply.
-
AngryPeteyPabloRefreshing! It’s so encouraging to hear something other than millions of years of purposeless chance is the reason we’re here. The choice isn’t between science or the Bible, rather science proves what God has already told us in His word!
-
robynoboeGreat for Learning Science!Love hearing about different topics every time! Love going in depth, learning so many new things about science.
-

Science is presented accurately. The science attests to the validity and truthfulness of Scripture. For Christians and anyone else looking to get informed, I recommend you try this podcast out.

LsboeckenGreat podcastProvides good science but also good logic to help better understand why the question of evolution v. Creation matters.
-
Hokies80Another perspectiveWe've all learned evolution, uniformitarianism, Big Bang, etc. but here is another convincing and interesting scientific perspective about our origins and the earth. This podcast will, at a minimum, give you a better knowledge of whatever you decide to believe. Worth a listen!!
-
terrytechOutstanding Resource!!ICR provides extremely good information and refresher training to equip christians to engage secular contacts. The topics answer questions that every christian is confronted with about why we believe as we do. These short podcasts provide the snippets needed to support us in our daily interactions with non-believers. Scripture does not contradict science, science came from The Word!!
-
dergunnzThought ProvokingVery thought provoking and worth the listen
-
cameronc137Creation science does not exist."Creation science" does not exist. For some field of study to be a science it must involve some amount of hypothesizing, data collection, and evaluation of the hypothesis with that data. So called "creation science" is nothing more than outdated religious dogma with scientific sounding words. Please do not waste your time listening to this pseudoscience.
-
Alex6esReplay over and over againFantastic program with strong biblical and scientific evidence of the creation. Thanks you for putting this series together. I also love the short videos call: "that's a fact"

judituppVery informativeThis podcast is probably the most cerebral one I listen to. I really enjoy hearing actual scientists explain different things about our world.
-
Fantastic podcastsFantastic podcastsThis series of podcasts really touches in more detail about the scientific evidence based on the topic discussed along with Biblical support. I have felt that scientific evidence is barely touched on in most podcasts of this nature. So, this series was a great find.
-
PColdfieldFantastic creation podcastLike ICR's Acts and Facts magazine, this podcast provides interesting and concise data on all areas of science and how the young earth/flood creation model is supported. Great for jr high and high schoolers, as they start to get into the sciences more.
