    Disappointed
In today’s episode (8-30-23) the hosts talked about climate change and were passionately convinced that humans have greatly contributed to it. Why is an apologetic ministry discussing liberal Democrat topics? It’s the “vanity of humanity” to believe we humans can actually cause climate change. Please stick to apologetics.

    Not easy to hear.
This app is hard to listen to. Sounds like speakers are in a tunnel. I am hearing impaired but can hear well through EarPods and it is still hard to understand and make out the clarity of the words.

    Pointless sidekick
Your “co-host” so rarely has anything to share or ask, what’s the point? Just a body for you to talk to? Reminds me of Johnny Carson’s sidekick Ed McMahon, who never said anything other than “… Yes!” (pointless)

    Edifying, intellectually satisfying, joyful
If you are looking for real questions and real answers, history, logic, honesty, integrity, encouragement, comfort… This is an impressive, collaborative effort put forth by some humble brothers dedicated to learning about and thinking about God. It is refreshing and unflinching in it’s dedication to the word and the mission of the gospel towards humanity and creation itself. I’m very glad that this resource is available and I hope others who are hungry and thirsty for truth will find it in their time of need. The faithfulness, goodness, wisdom and immutability of God is joyfully explored, explained and celebrated here.

    Ken Samples
This review is only for Straight Thinking with host Ken Samples. Ken believes that we must set aside our doctrinal differences in order to grow the Body of Christ. I agree with this, as long as the doctrinal differences remain within the Biblical narrative. Ken has stated multiple times that we must work with Mormons and Catholics to achieve this goal. This is ecumenical garbage. Catholics and Mormons profess a different Christ than what Scripture teaches. This is one of the most deceptive heresies today and is embraced by many false teachers such as Kenneth Copeland. Dr Ross is brilliant, but these men who are either false teachers or ignorant of God's word and thus should not be teachers are a disgrace. I love Hugh's work but am deeply disappointed in this program on his podcast.

Any questions about science and faith….this is the place. Excellent.

    Garbage!
This podcast is all about taking legit science and trying to skew it so it fits into a religious worldview. It couldn’t be more horrifyingly bad and dishonest.

    Extremely informative and thought-provoking
RTB is one of my favorite go-to’s. Thought-provoking and informative, and while I sometimes don’t agree 100% with the logic or the conclusions, I’m probably in the high 90%. Of course, the only one who agrees with me 100%, as of course myself. And even then, I find myself arguing with myself. But enough of me! I will say, if you listen RTB, find time in your day when you can listen to it in one sitting like when you’re driving somewhere or working around the house. The thoughts and arguments are always laid out extremely well, but it helps to be able to concentrate and ponder as you are listening. Thank you for all the effort that goes into this podcast.

    Such a compelling podcast!
This podcast has been so helpful and edifying for me. I’ve always found compelling information in each episode and I strongly recommend it 100%.

    Clear Thinking
This is a podcast of clear, critical thinkers who destroy the false dichotomy of religion versus science by examining all the evidence, past and current. They cover the latest scientific research in a way that is satisfying to the professional but is understandable to the laymen like me.

    Honest and open
Incredibly intellectual assessment of evidence. Worth the listen and study.

    Not really scientific
I appreciate that they try to remain unbiased, but essentially this is apologetics. There’s no way to prove anything of what they are saying. Other theologians or scholars might disagree with the conclusions here but that’s not presented. I would rather hear a discussion, rather than being told what to believe by presenting a weak case. But I guess that’s why It’s called “Reasons to believe” podcast. Just found arguments to be very weak

    More apologetic garbage
First of all, the word evidence is an uncountable noun. Saying the non-word “evidences” just makes you sound ignorant. There is nothing new in this podcast, just the same apologetics that provides NO real evidence that the resurrection ever happened.

    Great podcast when on topic
The episodes where they focus their conversation and time to the episode title are great! When they, mostly Ken Samples, wander or circle around the topic, the episode become too long and almost unsharable to non-Christians who would really benefit. Episodes that are focused and under an hour, well under is better, are ideal. Also, show notes with the book titles and authors would be great. Been more than one episode where resources were rattled off. Again, for sharing for those interested, a text list would be a useful tool.

3 gods: the Trinity, St. Augustus, and Mortimer Adler
The 28:19 section of the show is great. My only complaint about that is I wish they spent more time on topics rather than a few minutes per segment. My low rating for this podcast is for Straight Thinking. It’s a shallow, pseudo-intellectual part of the podcast that spends far too much time circling around a version of the same 3 topics every episode: the Trinity, St. Augustus, or Mortimer Adler. The subject of the episode could be as far away from any of those topics as possible, but Mr. Samples always finds a way to incorporate one of those topics and spend half the episode gushing over it. It’s tiring to listen to and with the way RTB has made it the highlight of their podcast, I’m finding less and less reason to stay subscribed to them, in spite of my love for Dr. Rana and Dr. Ross. When he finds a way to limit his talking about those three topics, I find myself enjoying him and him raising good points, but without fail, as soon as I begin to think I will continue listening to him, he hijacks the episode to start talking about one of the three aforementioned topics. I hate to give a poor review for a generally good podcast that is ruined by one aspect of it due to the pedestal that aspect has been lifted on. Hopefully they’ll tell him to broaden his topics but given that he’s been doing this for years, I doubt it.

    Sound and faithful. Thought-provoking.
Good variety of topics from theology to history to apologetics. Honest and open.

The Truth Will Set You Free
Reasons to believe podcasts communicate some of the relevant findings in the books that Hugh Ross has written. Its increadibly clear and takes the position of researching and knowing the alternative views overlaying the scientific method to reduce the noise into the only logical explanation.

What a Great Mission, Explain Science from the Perspective of the First Scientist
I enjoy the way the podcast relates science (both in terms of history and present times) to the world that God has created. It is very fascinating to reflect on the impact of documents that are about 4,000 years old (Genesis and Job) speak to the details of science that we are discovering over the last couple of centuries. What a powerful testimony to our Creator!!

    Heavy breather.
These gents provide great content and stimulating thoughts. However, one of them is a heavy breather right on a mic and taps the table. It makes it hard to focus. Otherwise, it’s great.

    Thoughtful and Convincing
I have been following reasons to believe for a number of years and I've benefited so much from the knowledge, the insight, and the thoughtfulness by which each item contains. This is well worth downloading and supporting.
