    Worth your limited time
Matthew is a good communicator, good listener, good interviewer and obviously knows a few things. I don’t know there’s an episode I have listened to only once. They are so rich you’ll go back and listen to get what you missed, or when a circumstance in your life points you to it again. Driving, exercising, doing chores, or sitting quietly on a bench it doesn’t matter. You need these shows in your life. Andrew W

I went to a Convocation that my Diocese had this year and Matthew Leonard was the Keynote speaker, and from that time I became a fan. Give Matthew’s podcast a listen, you will not be disappointed. A+

What we must understand about Holy Thursday
Thank you for this profound teaching. I learned how we are to live our Christian life in imitation of Christ through the power of the Holy Eucharist.

Do you want to learn more about Jesus?
Matthew Leonard evangelizes like no other. The guests that he hosts are just as amazing teachers. I am a cradle Catholic and I have learned so much from listening to these podcasts it has changed my prayer life. God bless you Matthew

    Awesome podcast
Very enlightening!!! Mathew Leonard is a great host, and with a great conversion story. He invites influential personalities of the Catholic Church to make a very interesting but also educational show, however, it is still very witty and easy to listen to. Thanks Mathew for this great gift!

Always pops up when I need it!
I don’t know why I don’t make a point to listen religiously (no pun intended), but God knows exactly when I need to hear Matthew Leonard and/or his guests. This podcast seems to pop up at random times as a reminder... and I know I have to hit “play” when it does. Today was no different. I’m about to run out to purchase a book discussed on his show and will make a point to keep Art of Catholic at the top of my podcast list from now on.

    Potential Convert
I have been on the stage of inquiry of the Catholic faith for a few months now and Matthews Podcast has definitely been helpful in pushing me more into a full commitment to the Catholic Church. I’ve listened to almost every single episode and it is hard to pick a favorite as they have all been extremely helpful at answering my questions and concerns. The 80’s references also don’t hurt either.

    Thank God it's not daily
This is my favorite Catholic podcast, but I'm so thankful it's not a daily podcast. Matthew dives deep into each topic he covers. In fact, he dives in so deep, that I have to listen to each episode multiple times just to grasp the depth of everything presented. If this was daily, I wouldn't be able to do that. Keep up the great work, Matthew. God bless you.

    It’s a blessing
I first saw you on the Genesis to Jesus series which I think is fenomenal, I’m a rebirth and I’ve been learning so much from this podcast every week I keep hoping that the next episode will be released thank you so much Matt and may God bless you

Reignite the Flame of Your Faith
I can’t express enough how much the podcast has changed my life. Before I was turned onto it, I had recently returned to Christianity and was basically just going through RCIA for a girl (didn’t even work out). Though I had returned to Christianity, I was by no means attempting to live a Christian life. Listening to the Art of Catholic reignited a flame that went out a long time ago, and now I am motivated to continually push myself forward in my spiritual life. I’ll be going to Franciscan University soon (since it sounded so awesome), so hopefully I can thank Mr. Leonard in person. So, if you want to go from being unable to escape your old self to studying college level theology, then this podcast will be a great first step. Also, the theology of the body episodes were a game changer to someone who was never exposed to it before. God bless you and your family.

    2015 Episode on Mary
Hi Matt, I just listened to Mary is the New Covenant podcast and 🤯🤯🤯. That was such a cool connection I had never heard of and wish all my catholic friends (and catholic doubters) could hear such a powerful message. Best thing I’ve learned in 2020!

    Best ever!!
I taught CCD, post-confirmation apologetics etc, for about 10yrs. Now, raiding my 5 kids, I don’t have a lot of time to do in depth studying on my own. I love how much I am learning and that my 15yr old has started listening! My little ones, 16mo - 4yrs, even recognize it as my “mommy show about Jesus.” I love it! Thank you for all the hard work you put into these shows! It is so greatly appreciated!

Always waiting for the next podcast
I find myself looking for the newest podcast after only 2 or 3 weeks then start looking every day. Thank you Matthew I read so many good books that you have talked about and learned a lot from the podcast. I’m also reading the Bible with more insight from the podcasts.

The best Podcast every Catholic should hear
For a long time now I have subscribed and am truly enjoying The Art of Catholic. Matthew Leonard has such a tremendous gift of communicating the riches and beauty of our faith. I have heard him in person, seen the work he has done with the St Paul Center as well as his Academy-Next Level Catholic. The material he presents is one of those that I listen or view time and time again. His guests are simply the cream of the crop like Fr. Don Calloway, Dr. Bergsma and many others. Matthew is just the real deal. He doesn’t talk or present to you as if you have a doctorate in theology or philosophy. This is one of those Podcasts you want to tune out all the distractions and just listen and enjoy. Keep up the great work!

    Hearing the other side
I am not sure where my faith stands. I can’t place myself in Protestantism and I can’t place myself, yet, in Catholicism. My entire life, within Seventh-Day-Adventism, I’ve been taught a biased version of the history of Christianity. Matthew Leonard isn’t my entry into Catholicism. It started with Scott Hahn and Matt Fradd. But Matthew Leonard has quickly become one of my favorite Catholics. He is a convert, which gives a unique perspective and this has helped me immensely. The art of Catholic has given me a different view of Catholicism that seems true. I am a student of history and what I’ve heard from this amazing podcast matches up. Keep it up my man, you are saving souls.

I was lost but now have found...Matthew
I have two kids in Catholic grade school and feel that Matthew’s podcast has given me the same desire to learn that my kids have! Thank you for your enthusiasm and great array of topics. I felt so smart on the way home enlightening them on why John the Baptist ate locusts and wild honey! I appreciate you and your guests!

    Matthew Leonard!!!
I am a cradle Catholic and I came upon Matthew and Leonard’s podcast and I am loving every one of them! They teach me a lot that I don’t remember and helps me see things in such a different way! Listen to Matthew .... you will not regret it!

    Accessible & Profound
The Art of Catholic is my favorite podcast. I’ve listened to many episodes several times. Not only are challenging topics broken down simply, but someone with an extensive theological background can draw fresh insights from Matt and his remarkable guests. You’ll also get a dose of humor and an occasional reference to the depth of Matt’s knowledge of 80’s music. In short, you won’t be disappointed. Excellent for new Catholics, returning Catholics, Protestants, skeptics, and anyone seeking truth.

It’s great to listen to each episode as a great adventure in the Catholic journey of faith. Please keep going Thank you

    Breath of fresh air
Not only do I learn so very much from Matthew, but I absolutely love how joyful he is. Often Matthew bursts into laughter with his guests and I find myself laughing along - even if I don’t understand their private joke. His joy in sharing the truths of our beautiful catholic faith is infectious. Thank you Matt, keep up the great work!

    Awesome.
I recently fell into a health issue that requires me to drive 4-6 hours per day. I am also a recent return to the Catholic Church. I stumbled on this podcast by the grace of the Almighty. Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner.

I wish I lived in Stubenville
I found this podcast about a year ago and was immediately hooked. Matthew Leonard's zeal for the faith is truly inspiring, and the wide range of topics he covers has made me realize how little I know about Catholicism, and introduced me to books and scholars who can teach me more about this incredible faith. In the past decade I have grown more interested in spiritual matters, likely related to becoming a mother. This podcast and the treasures it's shown me have helped me to slowly grow in faith, learn to defend the Church, and try to bring the love of Christ to others. Thank you Matthew. God bless you and your family.

    Five star shout!
My quest for more information into my Catholic faith was sparked by listening to Catholic radio. I heard Matthew on the radio several times and really enjoyed his shows, so I checked out his website. I’ve heard the term “podcast” many times but being older, I didn’t understand what it was and really didn’t want to take the time to learn. Wow! To have all of that audio resource at the touch of your fingertips is awesome! Matthew is so enthusiastic about his faith and sharing the Good News (and some bad) that he inspires me to be a better, more holy person. Thank you Matthew. BTW: You have an awesome theme song... I can’t decide if yours or Catholic Answers Live is better! 😁

Art of Catholic, modern day Summa
Matthew Leonard cracks open that tough catechetical exterior to release that sweet, sweet theological nectar. Philosophy, Typology (my absolute favorite), dogma, lives of saints, Bible study, and Marianology are typical topics with a guest list far superior to anything Hollywood can put out. If you like this podcast, check out Matthew Leonard’s Next Level Catholic Academy - it will change your life.

Want to know more about Catholicism?
This podcast brings a wide array of the Catholic faith the truth, beauty, and goodness. This podcast can and will challenge you to seek to know more, it is for all to engage and not just those that are theologians. As St Paul says, as do those that have listened to more than a couple of these podcasts, rejoice in hope, ensure in affliction, persevere in prayer. Romans 12:12

    Cradle Catholic loving this show
I’m a Cradle Catholic & am loving this show. The episode I just listened to mentioned that “we as Cradle Catholics are the ‘rich family’ & just had this faith given to us,” which is true. I have taken my given faith for granted the last 30 years and this podcast is just so enlightening. I was also given the Catechism of the Catholic Church when I was confirmed as a sophomore in HS, & I’m ashamed to say that this is the first time I’ve opened it. THANK YOU for this show & keep the episodes coming!

What a blessing that this technology can be used to deliver such sound and comprehensive teachings. Thank you Matthew. May you be blessed in you ministry and never stumble like you middle-namesake. Can’t wait for Next Level Catholic...2 more days.

    Loving it :-)
I have only recently found this podcast, but I am just loving it. Here I have found a combination of history, philosophy, theology, beauty (beauty! I don’t know if I’ve ever heard beauty articulated so passionately before), current events, and more, expounded by people of faith, reflection, intelligence, and humor. Wonderful. It truly lives up to its name — the Art Of Catholic.

    The Cure for Stinking Thinking!
Your podcasts are always fantastic and worth the wait, but this episode on how to think like a Catholic is a wonderful antidote for the sickness of relativism. Michael Miller’s explanations about the relationship between reason, truth, freedom, and faith gave me a perspective of a firm footing in my personhood. It seems essential to understand these things correctly In order to fully conform ourselves to Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Thank you so much for all your excellent work, looking forward to the Next Level!

    Truth BOMB
I’ve been a listener/subscriber for a while. I’ve been blow away more than once. But Episode 87 is the big Catholic Truth BOMB! Reason feeds my faith and I gorged on this podcast. If being a glutton for your podcast is a sin, I don’t want to be saved! Thanks, Matthew. Bless you and all your guests!!

Episode 86 is probably my favorite so far! I’ve been listening to podcast for a few months now, and it’s always good, usually great, but this episode was awesome! Keep up the great work, Matthew, and I look forward to the Academy soon!!

    One of my favorites
Started not too long ago as a listener, diving in with the crisis of masculinity episode (which shook me to the core). As a horribly lapsed catholic, Matthew has helped not only me rebound, but my family as well. I now enjoy mass weekly with my wife and children. My wife is hyper focused on RCIA classes. I love how the episodes go from deep theology one episode to casual conversation another. Thank you so much for your work. You’ll have a lifelong listener now and I can’t share these episodes enough with friends. God bless.
