    Horrible Interviews
I really want to like this show and to support my local NPR station. However, I usually just send my money to WBUR every month. I feel that Rose Scott’s show is one of the reasons why I hate the local programming. It’s clear she doesn’t carefully research the topics covered on the show or people she interviews. Horrible questions that lack thoughtfulness. She always diverts to personal or comedic questions, but these kinds of questions shouldn’t replace thoughtful, informative journalism.

    Excellent interviews
I find it amazing how prepared Rose Scott is for every interview, every day. She asks perfect questions that an educated interviewer would ask and a average listener might ask who doesn’t know much about the subject. It’s a great mix.

    Dope!
Rose is a much needed voice for all of Atlanta! She is always on top of the news that everyday folks really care about. Love her coverage of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop and what that milestone means for the city.

    Updates from home
I've lived away from Atlanta for a long time but Dekalb Co will always be home. Rose brings up the tough topics but shares just as many stories about awesome progress. Excellent reporting and storytelling.

    Poor Interviews
I can’t understand how Rose Scott is still interviewing people. Her questions are basic at best, she holds odd, strong opinions and often treats her guests awkwardly. Nearly every interview she gives will inevetably result in her response to an answer being “Really?!” and you can feel the guest not knowing how to react. Compared to other hosts, she feels like a C- journalism student. Far and away my least favorite public radio personality.

Rose Scott is a Atlanta treasure
Rose Scott is one of the few reporters that ranks with Gwen Ifill for Atlanta Metro news. Honest and fair reporting on all subjects even the racial injustices to brown people swept under the rug from the 1900 forward. Happy Bday 12-5-202 with retired weatherman Glen Burns

    A Treasure in Atlanta
Rose Scott is a rarity these days. Trustworthy, does her research, shares the findings without bias and from a place of knowledge and compassion. She needs to teach a master class in journalism to others.

Rose Scott is what in-depth, creative interviewing is all about. Thank you for opening up a real dialogue on local/regional/national issues.

    Relevant, Reflective, Resonant
Heard Rose when she was a guest on a national NPR roundtable on On POINT. So enamored by her unique combination of warmth and introspection, empathy and critique that not only an I a happy subscriber, I’ve also been enjoying past episodes. An easy reliable favorite.

    Thanks!
I find Rose Scott to be at the top of the list of trustworthy voices in Atlanta media. I’m happy that there’s this podcast for when I miss the radio program.

    Great
So glad I can listen to Rose Scott on my walks. I hated missing parts of interviews during the day as I was in and out of my car. Now I can keep on top of Atl issues!

    Finally In Podcast Format!!
I’ve been listening to Closer Look for almost 2 years and really enjoy listening to Rose Scott discuss news in and around Atlanta along with statewide news. So glad this is finally available in podcast format. I try to listen live but sometimes I don’t have time in the day. Hopefully other programs WABE has can eventually be made in podcast format. I love Jazz Classics with H Johnson. Hopefully that can make it to podcast format at some point.
