I wish I had known about this podcast when I was watching Originals and TVD. Fantastic discussion. Just what I wished for in the silly fan sites that are all about the looks of the stars. This is a genuine discussion of the show. Am listening now and stops me from missing the show so much. Prob will go back and listen to TVD one too. Great podcast- shout out to Roxy!

The reason Elijah had to die along with nick was so that nick would not die alone. That is one of nicks greatest fears and a pretty fundamental human fear in the real world. Elijah also did not want to someday die alone.

I first found Afterbuzz TV reviews several years ago and The Vampire Diaries was the fisrt one i listened to. I love Roxy and Tiana and I'm so glad you're both back for The Orginals. Sam you are amazing too and I love hearing your predictions. Please review the spin off and as many of other shows as you can :) !

I <3 this Podcast! It was the first one I listened to from the AfterBuzz TV Network, I'm addicted to this recaps and several more now. The wit and insight from hosts Tiona and Roxy are spot on; and now Sam as their third host. They are as big of fans as we are of the show and the ships. Team Halijah,always! Klaroline drink!

I love The Originals and have always loved Claire Holt (Rebekah Mikaelson And I really love Afterbuzz because you explain everything that needs to be explained and you funny sometimes

I love the Originals aftershow on ABTV. The hosts are like your friends, and they become your friends if you want them too. They're so insightful and they make you think about things you wouldn't have put together on your own sometimes . If you're a fan of the Originals, this podcast is 100% for you.

I have to admit that I fell in and out of love with The Originals during the second season, but your entertaining discussion after every episode kept my interest in the show. Great job!

I just cannot get enough of the Originals, this podcast helps between the week long wait for new episodes. I love all the hosts for this podcast and even though I was hoping Klaus was going to be with Caroline; I think it is ok he didn't get with her because it helped in the Original Spin off that he wasn't attached. Been attached to TV VD and the Originals since, the pilot episodes. Got friends hooked to next step hooking them up to following the podcast.

Hi guys, I loved this weeks episode and I wanted to comment on Finn's relationship status. I believe in the Vampire Diaries he was in a relationship with a redhead. She knew Damon and I think she use to box and she died after Finn was killed because she was linked to his bloodline. And after he was killed she died trying to seek revenge on Damon. I possible could have the wrong brother but I think it was him. Anyway keep doing what you're doing you guys ROCK!

Can you make one of the more intelligent ladies lead the show? It's like Roxy tries so hard to fight paying attention while watching the show. Take notes if you're having a tough time keeping up with the characters. Do research to remind yourself of what happened in TVD. Act like you're actually into the show because you're doing this show an injustice.

I love this panel. I love that Cortez hasn't washed Vampire Diaries and is coming into Originals with a fresh perspective. Roxy you crack me up everyweek. It's so funny how you are always confused.

Good aftershow and the new host was cool too! Genevieve was so moved by the gift because it was from her "era" and reminded her of the life she was cheated out of. This was camilles thanks for helping her father and honoring Elijah's truce.

Best show ever created

I had hopes with Hayley dying during birth and that season 2 will be war between her clan and the werewolves with the originals for the baby and who gets to keep and raise it. I think the reason Bekka left is that with all the concentration on who rules New Orleans, the writers are not doing a good job with the female characters, Hayley is doing nothing except being pregnant, Devina is becoming the on call witch, and Cami is just there for nothing. I wish they focus on other story lines for them than just being love interests

So maybe I just watched too much Once Upon A Time and the phrase "All magic comes with a price!" Is ingrained into my mind. But is anyone else thinking that when Hayley gives her pack the cure that the curse will transfer onto her, making it almost impossible to deliver the baby, be with Elijah, thus taking away the one thing that Elijah thought could bind his family AND Hayley. Like how awesome would it be if at the end of the episode all the Originals are alive (obviously) but Hayley is a wolf. It would force Elijah and Klaus to work together to fix this, and maybe even Rebekah to work along side them since she has a friendship with Hayley and to pay off some of her debt to Klaus that he feels entitled to. Probably not going to happen but I would find that really interesting. What do you think?

Hey guys I'm with you, not loving Cami AT ALL! Personally I feel she needs to go. Her plot line and her standards are soooooooo annoying.

This last episode was one of my favorites so far. Can't wait to see how this Elijah/Celeste storyline plays out. You guys are doing a great job with the recaps....keep up the good work!! :)

I just deleted this podcast after trying to listen to it for weeks. I'm really trying to understand how AfterBuzz found the three or four most annoying people I've ever heard in my life. And the guy and his faux ghetto-speak makes it even worse. Don't waste your time on this unless you want to hear middle school-type recollections of the episodes.

I must admit I am a TVD fan but - I am really loving the originals! I do not mind the references to TVD - isn’t it kind of the mythology of these shows. Plus that has to help the newbies to the show or my blonde brain! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for doing this and please keep doing it. I like to know other people share my feelings. I have a lot of feelings and I need an outlet to share them and this is a nice place to do it.

If you translate the Latin chant that Hailey was looking up towards the end of the episode, at first it translates as: "We will lose it." However if you take out the letter T in " tu" from one of the words in the chant, it roughly translates as " will destroy all things ".... Interesting.

Hey girls, so I think the only reason klaus keeps killing rebeka lovers is because he doesn't have one so if he can't neither can she. Or that he fears if she does find a lover she will run off with him and leave klaus alone. Great show ! I'm on twitter @Theschenkstir
