A view of the game from a different angle
It’s a fun and engaging look behind the scenes of baseball! I enjoy Mark’s conversations with his guests and my understanding of the business of baseball has grown tremendously. I hope this series keeps going!

    A GO TO Pod
Really enjoy this podcast - showing the professional and personal upbringing of the people that build and sustain some of the most important organizations in American culture. During the hiatus, I sincerely miss listening to this when driving to work. Definitely a go to once a week for commuting!

    Future
As a 17 year old who strives to work in a front office one day, this podcast has been extremely informative and helpful into getting an inside look into MLB front offices. I love it

    Great insight to the game
Amazing insight to the game. Great guests. So many people that I otherwise wouldn’t be exposed to. Thanks for putting it together. I hope you continue it through the 2019 season. My only complaint is the audio editing is really bad. It is initially loud when compared to other podcasts and it goes up and down over the course of an interview. I understand you can’t get your guests into a studio every time so maybe look for ways to adjust those volume fluctuations in editing?

    Questions not asked
Jason used the term “process” at least 4 times, probably more, Mark, whose work I have enjoyed for years, never asked for an explanation of the term, preferably with examples. Same goes for “systems” and “infrastructure” although those terms were not used as much. Would like Mark to listen to the answers and follow up for clarification and/or explanation so the responses have context.

    Thank you!
Thank you for this content!! Executives are guarded but the insight is still interesting and so appreciated. Double down on getting front office execs out in the public.

    Amazing podcast
Awesome and informative podcast not just for seam heads, but also for Business men who can learn and incorporate the amazing concepts and thought processes these Executives talk about into any line of business. My favorite podcast going, I’m a huge fan and look forward to continuing to listen and support. Thanks Mark

    Love it!
This is my favorite podcast. I listen to just about any podcast related to baseball, and this one is the best. One of the biggest mysteries in the game is how people start as regular people and then end up in important roles in front offices of big league teams. Keep it up!

    Verlander Story
Amazing podcast on Verlanders trade. I love the insight that you guys give us as fans. You guys should totally do an episode on WS Game 5 & 7 of 2017. How did WS Game 5 affect the outcome of the entire WS for the Astros. Love it! I think I just found a new Sports Podcast!

    Fix the sound
I have my phone turned up, tried listening through a speaker and the sound still is horribly low. Only way I can listen is by having headphones in.

Best Baseball Front Office Podcast our there
Teams have their podcast, StatCast has their podcast, and then here is Executive Access. By far the best baseball podcast out there. It’s captures the backgrounds of front office executives around the league. It tells you their journey and also captures where this industry is headed. The host does a phenomenal job at letting the Executives talk and share their stories and opinions. This podcast is a first of its kind and I can’t wait for the next episode.

    Poor Sound Quality
The content is great. It’s just massively brought down by the inconsistent high and low audio levels as well as many episodes having someone’s phone notification or email sounds and alerts going off throughout the podcasts. For interviewing professional executives this seems like a poor oversight.

    Brilliant
Best podcast out there. For mega baseball fans who always want more, this is an amazing podcast. Mark is well prepared with great questions, and extracts the information we all want to hear

    Love the conversations, BUT
Love the podcast. He goes into great detail with the GM’s, but come on, this is an MLB podcast. Get this man some top notch recording equipment. It sounds like he’s interviewing them in a hallway.

Great idea and love the insights into the game from the people who shape it. Keep it up and have loved the diversity of questions and backgrounds on routes to their current roles.

    Great start...
What a way to kick off a new series, with a new owner of a MLB team, D Jeter. Good question and a nice insight to what he see needs to happen to build a competitive team.

Like a Cup of Joe with the Boys
Mark has a nack for conversation! Listening to it reminds me of my own stories of success and failure. Also reminds me to Never Give Up! 💙 It feels like your talking with a good friend who only happens to be the one and only DEREK JETER! So excited for futare sessions.
