I would love this if I could listen without adjusting the volume for each speaker
One person's voice is often much louder than the other's. Soft-spoken people cannot be heard without making the other person (usually the host) sound like they are yelling in my ear/car/kitchen. Would love to hear these, but just can't keep my finger on the dial for 45 minutes.

Wonderful Information AND Awesome Company in the Night!
I just found this amazing podcast about a month ago. I listen to two or three episodes just about every night on my iPod while I'm in bed. I have a hard time getting my mind, and the stresses from my life, to quiet down enough to be able to fall asleep at night. My remedy is to listen to "Words to Mouth". Carrie has such a sweet and kind demeanor, and she is a great interviewer as well. Carrie brings out the best in her guests, and her guests are then able to deliciously describe their books to all of us in the audience. As I listen to the podcast, I relax and forget about my troubles. I listen to about two or three of Carrie's episodes, and then I am relaxed enough to fall asleep, as I begin to dream about the book that the author and Carrie just talked about. The next day, I often get up and go put the book titles, that I just heard about the night before, on my list of books to read! Thanks so much Carrie for a great podcast, great authors, and wonderful sleep "medicine" to help me relax enough to get some sleep!!! A Loyal Fan, Lucinda (Cindy) Erickson

    Still Alice, Lisa Genova
I had purchased the book "Still Alice" but hadn't had the time to read it. However, after listening to Carrie's interview with the author I was curious about "Alice" and am now enjoying reading it. Thanks!

Love this, my Manic Mommie Escape friend!
I listen to Carrie as one of the Divas of the Diva Cast. This is so great...short, to the point and interesting. I love the idea of more time to read and Carrie helps me narrow my focus! She makes me want to read more and regret that I can't find the time! Much love and good karma, my good friend!

Great info. Good variety of authors and kind of books. Nice to hear the overall background of author; how they got started; and inspiration on current book. ANd the best is you can register to win the books she talks about after getting jazzed up about them.

The place I turn to when I need a new book to read
This podcast has really helped me find new books to read and authors to follow. The questions are ones I would ask myself. Her insighful interviews really seem to bring out interesting information not only about the book but about the author as well. My favorite part is her asking authors what they are reading. This podcast has also introduced me to different genre that I would not normally have read, and her give-aways rock!!!

Great author interviews and book reviews
These are enjoyable and informative interviews done in an intimate manner. It's a little like being in a book club, and a little like eavesdropping on a couple of authors having coffee. I've listened to all but the single parenting cast and found them all interesting, and all inspiring on some level. I can't pick a favorite! Carrie asks the questions I'd ask and doesn't pretend to be anything she isn't - how refreshing! Keep 'em coming!

Love hearing how the authors got their starts
Not only do I learn about a lot of good books to read but I enjoy hearing how these authors got their starts and their first books published. Also this podcast has introduced me to science fiction - a genre which I had never read before. Great podcast!

    Like being back in college!
Carrie, this is so much fun. I am one of those nerdy types that absolutely loved lit class and lengthy discussions in college. BRAVO for blazing yet another trail.
