Towards the end of reading , Rachel said “Everyday I don’t have to see results, because I know that everything is in motion.” Ah, this hit hard, replayed 3 times. I was feeling in a rut this week, and this line completely pulled me out and put me back in the mindset that serves me. And now, it lives on a post-it note in my studio. When I started listening to Basic Witches, I didn’t expect them to make me feel so good! They were simply something fun to listen to. Now, I look forward to their episodes every Wednesday and Blazin’ with them every Tuesday! They are so light and uplifting, though the topics that they cover aren’t always, they offer amazing outlooks and guidance. They are super promoters of self love and accepting yourself for you. I highly recommend.

I've been listening to these magical babes for a few years now and it’s my only podcast I subscribe to that I just never fall behind on!!! They are real, vulnerable, honest, curious and powerful! They speak out about injustice while always being open to learn more so that they can do better in this world. That’s just a bonus! Their guest are always GEMS! They range from pro witch to those who only know of witches to have green faces and children in their oven. I always leave feeling empowered. Period! This podcast quite literally changed my life. I started listening to it in 2020 and since then it has helped me tap into my spiritual side that I had pushed down for so long due to past religious traumatic experiences. I always look forward to their episodes and somehow it always has exactly what I need to hear that day. It’s made me think, reflect, and love myself and what more could you really ask for. Rachel and Leah give off an incredible energy and I love the way they always keep it real and have on the best guests.

This podcast quite literally changed my life for the better in so many ways. I discovered this pod back in 2019 with Myla Ivers episode on the Akashic Records and was immediately hooked. I’ve listened to almost every episode since that point! I’ve learned so so much, especially with regards to my own spiritual practice and intuition. This pod helped me realize I needed to end a 2 year relationship, and helped me laugh and heal through the heartbreak. Leah and Rachel are the funniest witches ever, super kind, open, and inclusive. I’ve taken each of the courses they offer and loved that tremendously! Since lockdowns they do IG lives regularly and I feel like I am apart of this wonderful coven of inspiring witches. Witches- THANK YOU for this episode. I was date raped in a relationship when I was in law school. Fortunately I am with a great partner who understands consent- but it took me awhile to get there. It took me awhile to get back to my body and endure another abusive relationship to get out and get into healthy habits and looking at red flags. I ended up being a sex crimes prosecutor for a bit- women need to keep speaking up and out. I hope these people who continue to hurt others- go down. It pains me that our justice system is as flawed as it is, but I hope that we can continue to implement change. Thanks again, #metoo victims need to keep speaking up

I really want to listen but when there is a guest and everyone talks at once, the audio keeps cutting in and out. I am unable to follow along. A personal problem, yes, for sure. I enjoyed the topic but ended up getting anxiety trying to keep up with the audio cutting in and out. I’ll hopefully revisit at some point or attempt a different episode in the future.

Found this podcast a little over a year ago and have not looked back since! Best “witchy” podcast but even if you don’t consider you’re self a witch, I still recommend!

while growing up my much older sisters always told me about being witches. they were becoming so different, in a great way. i remember telling my friends (in elementary and middle school) and them making it out to be weird. i didn’t understand the stigma, because my sisters became the happiest they’ve ever been. they always gifted me things like crystals, tarot cards and information, i loved it but i wasn’t old enough to fully understand. now as i’m older, i’m ready to learn, after i first discovered i’m an empath, which flipped a switch for me. you two are helping me learn so much and embrace this wonderful witchy life. i strive to be like you two🌿✨🌹
