I really enjoy listening to Scott and his co-hosts discuss Apple and Apple products. But the show grinds to a halt when they start talking about apps. They spend too long on each app, particularly games. I'd prefer more of an Apple fanboy show with some briefer app reviews.

I've been a fan of this podcast from ep. 1. Their fun down to earth reviews have helped me get the most out of my iPhone /iPad.

Anyone who rates this under 5 stars (the person before me) obviously has their head up their own arse, they need to pull it out and smell the roses.

You really get a lot out of this podcast. They review apps, let you know about apps that are out there that you may not have heard of, and they provide interesting and current information. I have downloaded a significant amount of apps just from listening to this show. It is definitely a staple of my podcasting consumption.

Glowing Review of a little known app called pocket podcast seems a little fishy since when you load it up the first thing you see is frog pants network and twit on the menu for networks

I started listening to AppSlappy when it first started and it was excellent . The show seems to have lost some of its momentum from those early days and now seems to get off topic and take forever to get through reviews sometimes. It still brings listeners good information about apps while doing so in a good humor fashion making it fun to listen to. The microphone sound quality is very good although Irene could use a compression microphone to even out her sound levels a bit more. I think if the team has alot on their plates and are doing the best they can with the limited time they share between other shows they hosts, their familys, and jobs. Worth a listen to check out for yourself.

AppSlappy is one of my favorite podcasts ever, I've been hooked since episode one. I now play TripleTown, with ONE hand while I eat my bowl of cereal. Thank You AppSlappers!! Richter

Eileen is such a great added touch to the show. Scott and Eric are excellent as well. This podcast is top notch. All the haters saying you fell off can blank off. Derpness!

Excellent reviews combined with witty entertainment. Love the fact that everyone on the show keeps it clean, family appropriate all the time. Always professional and they don't mind recording their mistakes, keeping the experience real. As if they were talking with you personally. And they will be brutally honest about the apps they review! So it never feels like an info-mercial. I give them 5 stars!

This is a well produced podcast that does a great job of covering a wide assortment of iOS apps.

Love that this is a good clean fun app show. I can listen as an adult or with the fam. The info is great. The hosts are fun and engaging. Keep up the great podcasts.

I've been a fan of many of Scott Johnson's podcasts since, to my knowledge, there was only ELR and The Instance. Even though I have pretty much every iDevice released, I didn't get into this show until recently because I I figured it would be just a bunch of fanboys/girls raving about Apple. Now, while that might be true (jk!), the show is extremely entertaining and informative. There are so many apps that I never would have tried that I am now addicted to: Instacast, Planetary, Bike Baron, and many more. Thankfully, I broke my addiction to the anti-game known as Tiny Tower long enough to leave this review.

App reviews done fun & informative! I have gotten a lot of great app advice from them. Best app podcast ever! 

This terrific trio of hosts each week dive into the tremendous world of all things iOS. It would be a tragedy to give these three less then five stars.

App slappy is an excellent podcast as you can tell from the reviews. The host and two co-hosts talk about more than just apps. They really should name the show iOS slappy. I have been listening since episode 5. It has been a long time favorite podcast of mine to listen to each week, not only because of the interesting news and information, but also for all the apps I have acquired over the years. My iPad is loaded with App Slappy recommended Apps and hours of enjoyment. I have come to rely on their advice and recommendations so as to not wasted money on Apps which is so easy to do these days. I LOVE THE NEW SHORT MINI-SEGMENT release which compelled me to write this review. I have often be disappointed to listen to the weekly show only to find the app deal over and the price gone up. I started listening to you about 50 episodes in, way before Eileen joined and I went back to listen to them all. I am a big fan, a geek and iDevice nut so that being said this is right up my alley. So enjoy the comedy, schtick, banter, and information. i live in CA or I would come to nerdtacular to meet you all or some such time when you're doing your thing in person. Love so much I started listening to the Morning Stream cause Appslappy wasn't coming around fast enough and you guys are like friends. (We would definitely be if we really knew each other) I am an artist, photographer, videographer, actor, and desktop publisher for a stress reduction company where chillin' is the drug of choice and teaching others how to manage their emotions and thoughts is part of the work. HeartMath. Anyway your mix of info and fun is addicting and it more than fills my drive time. (Listening to "jobs" biography so haven't heard this weeks, yet.) Eileen is a breath of fresh air and brings a different perspective than the always awesome Eric and the uber-geeky Scott Frogpants Johnson. I'm a loyal listener since the beginning. On a recent podcast I was laughing hysterically while driving as Eric affirmed that Eileen was talking about screen sizes of 4-5 inches. Right?

...it should be called Mobile Gaming Cast--as most of the reviews and conversations revolve around iPod/iPhone games--with a sprinkling of non-gaming apps.

Love these podcasts and listen to them every week. Waiting expectantly for the 100th as I'm sure it will be a big one.

This is the podcast I rely on to find out about new apps, games, and hardware accessories that I otherwise might not hear about. They review popular apps as well as apps that aren't hugely popular but have something worth discussing. There seems to be good chemistry between the hosts, and the shows seem natural and not at all scripted. My only complaint is that I normally end up spending more money at the Apple store after listening to their reviews. Argh! lol It's an awesome show and well worth a listen for anyone who like iOS apps.

Been listening since day one and I thoroughly enjoy ever episode. A lot of informative information about a topic that is almost impossible for the average consumer to keep up with. Love your cast, keep em coming.

Eileen PLEASE stop saying "I don't know" every 5 secs. during your reviews. Other then that all is well.

I really enjoy listening to this show. Scott Johnson is always right on with his review of apps, games in particular. I have probably bought a new game each week I listen to the show just based on Scott's review of a particular game and I have yet to be disappointed. After the latest show, episode 93, I bought the WOOORDS game based on his review and really love the game. If you are a fan of apps and enjoy games, listen to Scott and you will have some great games to play on your iOS device.

I know how you guys love 5 star reviews. You three deserve them. I have been listening to this podcast since episode 2 and have loved it ever since. This podcast is hilarious and always keeps me up to date with all things related to Apple. Anyway, this podcast is awesome!

I finally broke down and paid the money for a smartphone. I've been a frogpanter for a long time, but I had never heard of app slappy. After about five minutes into my first episode, i downloaded all episodes. Not only are the hosts funny, but extremely informative. In fact, they are so informative that i have brain leaking out of my ear because its been overloaded with the creamy goodness that is Scott Johnson. Everyone always seems to give him second billing in reviews, but I would just like to say here, that without the special spread of deliciousness that he smears over each and every show I wouldn't listen to podcasts in general. You have yet to fail me Scott Johnson. OBEY HENRY!

Long time listener of The Instance podcast. I listen to it at work and wait all week for a new episode to come out. To pass the time I started listening to all the other frog pants podcasts and really enjoy this one. I like the recommendations on whats good and bad for the iphone (besides Tiny Tower... So addictive). Keep up the good work.

My new found favorite tech podcast is AppSlappy. The format is natural conversation and not affected/put 'radio' talk like like some other popular podcasts (aka Macworld). The discussions are topical, intelligent with the right mix of tech, humor and rat hole divergence. Scott, Erich and Eileen work well together and my only regret is that I haven't found this show until now. Keep the right mix and this is sure to become a TWIT level podcats..

I have come to trust Scott and crew for app recommendations. There are so many apps out there it's good to have trusted voices to weed through the good and bad.

Scott, Eileen, and Eric do a great mix of info, reviews, and interesting conversation. A 'must listen' for anyone with an IOS device. Must mention that the start of the REVIEWS section always scares the bejesus outta me ( I wear headphones when listening at work) ;-), but always a good podcast.
