Unlike most podcasts where I only get to fall asleep listening to it once, I get to go back and rewind this one and fall asleep to it multiple times in the same week. Not sure how they are able to do 2 hours every week but it’s entertaining. Good recap and banter. I probably share something in common with Elton and Andy’s wife, they are not my first choice but I have a track record of settling.

You’re turning into pretzels trying not to say that, when it comes to winning races and F1 titles, the Merc F1 car is more important than the driver of those Merc F1 cars. There’s no question that Hamilton is a great F1 driver, and Russell probably will be also, but Russell is still an F1 rookie driver. Yet Russell, driving Hamilton’s car in an F1 race for the first time, had a very good chance to win the race on Sunday were it not for a punctured tyre. Do you really believe that if Perez, or Sainz, or Verstappen, or LeClerc, or Vettel, or Riccardo were driving the same Merc cars, setup specifically for them, couldn’t have won as many F1 titles? Because Hamilton is part black, and he’s “woke”, you, like many others in the podcast/broadcast world, go out of your way to say that he contributes “something” to the Merc team’s development and that makes him “special”. But you can’t define that “something”, because it’s impossible to define intangibles like a driver’s contribution to an F1 team’s development. People, like you and me, don’t know enough about the inner workings of an F1 team to be able to say that Hamilton contributes more to his team’s development than the drivers mentioned above would contribute. They, like the great F1 drivers from the past, all contributed “something” to their F1 teams’ development. So, please quit turning into pretzels!

This is a great podcast! Just started listening to them. I am actually a very new fan to F1. There are not a lot of F1 fans around here in Oklahoma! These guys are hilarious and very entertaining. I am def a loyal listener now!

Andy and Elton do a great job reviewing each race and even branch out on occasion to other racing events. Very entertaining and funny.

Like a fine-tuned GP2 engine in F1, these two guys, who clearly have a long history as fans, have a lot of passion for the sport, even if they don't have the in depth technical insight you might find in other podcasts. It's nice to hear these two down to earth guys every (other) week.

Elton and Andy give their unfiltered opinions and recap of each and every F1 race with intelligence and wit. One of my go to F1 podcasts. Their passion for all that is F1 from Practice and Qualifying to Race Day and off track F1 shenanigans you'll want to give them a listen and come back for more. Keep it up boys!
