LyliaMontelierFascinating and comprehensiveI've learned a great deal of new information about WWI. Presenters and interviewees are well respected historians, and the format is varied and engaging. Those who believe the podcast to be "biased" are ill informed. The suppression and distortion of historical facts in the aftermath of WWI created an "alternative" historical record (still embraced by many today, sadly) that made WWII inevitable.

Tar Heel VirginianIsolationismI’m glad they so “quaintly” laughed at the ridiculous fear mongering and conspiracy theories that so often pop up in this country. If they don’t want to be ridiculed, stop being ridiculous. Great, insightful podcast. I’m proud to be American and proud of my grandfather’s service in WW1. He was with the 120th US Infantry, 30th “Old Hickory” Division when they shattered the Hindenburg Line.

Taco200Only showcases America's problemsThey come to the library of congress and have a jolly laugh with divisive radicalists about their fellow Americans' fears. How...quaint

Bow wow 1232Incredibly biasedWow, I listened to about 10 of the podcasts and all of them talk about the valor, bravery, and heroism of Britain and the evil of Germans. I've never heard a more biased podcast. If you want to learn about the HISTORY of WW1, and not just a bunch of Brits saying their ancestors were in the right, don't waste your time on this!

Jim1777RemarkableIf you have any interest in the humans, you must listen to this. These are folks who were there then and aren't here now. Accents that are gone, memories you can't forget.
